Hi,
Reading through previous posts, it looks like this question has come up a few times, but I never really got what I needed to know from the replies.
Here's what I did to fit a child seat to mine. Hopefully the photos will help.
1. Buy a Britax Prince Group 1 car seat. This can be fit using either a 2 point lap belt or a conventional 3 point belt. I use the 2 point lap belt in the car to hold the seat in place. I use the slots on the child seat for the 3 point belt to "wrap" it round the back seat, stopping it rocking backwards and forwards.
2. Buy 2 x 900mm seat belt extensions (see eBay item 190682598047).
3. Drop the rear seat (such as you can!) by unclipping from the boot and feed through the two extensions.

4. Feed the extensions around the back of the child seat and clip into place. Don't worry if they're not tight at this stage.

5. Feed the car's 2 point lap belt through the back of the child seat and buckle into place tightly. This is the same process as described in the child seat handbook.

6. Clip the webbing of the extension into the red seat belt clip on the child seat. This is where the 3 point belt would normally go, albeit on the door side. Do this on both sides of the child seat and make sure the webbing is stretched tight across the back.

There's a limit of 5 pictures which can be uploaded per post, so I'll continue this in part 2.
