One of the Glasgow branches were a PITA. 2 hinges. 2 brackets, £46 including VAT and p+p from Edinburgh Porsche. Great service too. Plus - he's checking national stock for those pesky seat pin boots... I'll let you know. |

Fitted a pair of 9Products castor blocks today, they look a whole lot more sturdy than the OEM ones I removed!!! I’m hoping with all the changes(B6 suspension, 968CS springs, castors, OEM bushes) It feels a bit tighter up front. |

Sloppy gearstick traced to Only 944 shortshift coming loose at thrust bearings. Cleaned regreased and tightened up. One to keep an eye on. Nut was secured by a split pin but a washer had compressed increasing play. From pic there appears to be a redesign mine is an early one.

Air deflector hinges and clamp brackets fitted. It's nice to use new parts. I changed the front and intermediate gear linkage with a long life machined job from JMG Porsche a little while ago. What a difference to the gear shift. It means that I can forget about it indefinitely. |
