Drop link replaced. Horrible pad-lift sorted and new pads fitted.

That is one very dead drop link!

Well I did little more than look at the 968 and removed a bit more stick stuff from the inside of the 944.

I suspect your power steering pump needs a new nose seal as well :)

I replaced 4 sheared drive shaft bolts on the turbo, loaded 2 bumpers, 2 wings, rear light units, brake ducts and various other trims into the car then drove 110 miles in terrential rain to deliver and fit said panels to a 850bhp race car then drove 110miles home (i mean sailed 110 miles home) down the m3

all good fun!

I am not a normal human mechanic, I actually was sent back from the future.

That and the fact that one of your roll bar bushes (the drivers side one I bet) has swollen up.. the power steering fluid attacks the material the bushes are made from and makes them swell up.. one of the billions of things we look for on all the different models when inspecting them, as a tell tale sign of what might seem an unrelated problem.

Most people would just think some numpty has fitted the wrong bush in one side.

A 3.2 would throw anyone through a hedge.. but a 2.8.. that would be much better for you and we could do you a good deal on a 944 turbo with a brand new 2.8 engine in it, made to order, any colour you want :) anything to get you away from the skyline!

Will send a PM back!

I bought another white 86 944 Turbo, and another red 944 S2 I must be mad, someone stop me!!

I did however sell my Cobalt Blue 1992 944 S2 with blue interior, was an excellent car for the last 4 years, but was getting boring because I ran out of things to do to her to make her factory fresh and perfect.

So that must mean you have at least one 944 turbo for sale, right?
