My new refurbished throttle body!

oil blows through the seals and kills the TPS not to mention the loss of performance, and with Turbo TPS switches NLA ...look after yours

so the seals were non existent

Simon Peckham replaced the entire bearing with double seal units

A very long time in a dehumidified garage. A little less on uk roads :D

Most of mine is still looking good after 3 years non garaged and driven in mixed weathers

I'd suggest min £50k. It's essentially going to be brand new and improved from when it left the factory. Wonder what Ken is thinking?

I'll get my cheque book ready if its £30k :D

Got to be £40-50k IMO purely on the parts and workmanship alone

Many years ago I totally spoilt the owning pleasure of my TR5 PI by restoring it.
I used to sprint and hill climb it at places like Gurston Wiscombe and Goodwood.
After I had it finished it I went from 1min 49 standing start lap at Goodwood to 1min 53 and was worried about parking it anywhere where it could get damaged.
Now we have the mobile phone era of not paying attention to driving making it worse still.
However I sold it and the new owner won the post historic sports championship in it 8)
My TR was not a patch on the superb work you have done on your Porsche.

That is unfortunately the trouble with dedicating so much time and money to a project like this. It is worthy of being placed in a museum as the best Porsche 944 in existence. This obviously means that, if i owned it, I'd be scared to drive it anywhere.

Totally agree but the fun is in the doing not in the finishing

I may sell it or keep it and drive it, it will not sit idle either way :D
