Just fitted the whole AC system & ready for R134a gas. Anyone know quantity & what oil to use in the system?

It takes 30 oz which is 850 grams. If you've converted it to R134a then use that. Wasn't aware of different types of gas?

It's completely retro fitted but the compressor has the R134a sticker which the previous owner had.

Ok. I'd put 10ml of ester oil in when you fill it first time. I would also vac it out before filling.

Is that all it takes; 10ml of Ester?

So the 850 grams refers to the R134a?

The 10ml of ester will eat into the 850 grams, which is full system capacity, but not by much.

Don't use any more than 10ml of ester or you'll cause problems. It's worth doing in an older style AC system when you wish to use R134a as it will condition seals etc.
