 Post subject: Today I mostly fitted - a Mechanical Reversing Sensor ...

Actually, the install was surprisingly straightforward, just needing a couple of 10mm holes drilling in the spare wheel housing, and one through the rear valence behind the bumper, so if/when it comes off there'll be nothing more than those holes to grommet.

The caravan is an old - 1990 which makes it the same age as the 944 - French Fleurette a super lightweight pop-top. The biggest struggle I had was getting any appreciable nose-weight, I managed 25kg on the outward trip and about 40 on the return thanks to the wine and beer stash. Driving it was easy - with insufficient nose weight it was a tad 'waggly' at 60ish, but comfy nonetheless, with the bit extra it was far more stable.

We should start a 'Porsche with Caravan' section ... :lol:
