Hi folks,
thanks for the welcome
been out for a nice drive today and the car was great!!
unfortunatley when i got home there was oil on the drive,
got the gunk out, gave it a good clean off ,started her up on the ramps and nothing at first!!but then oil was slowly seeping down from " the rocker cover i think"!! right above oil filter, and right at the back of the rocker cover there is a dome with a gasket? and leaking there too!!
are these normal places,or does this sound like something else!!
By the way cars been standing sometime!!
regards kevin

Sounds like cam carrier & the seal at the back. Not unusual, but not that common. When cars stand the seals harden so this can then be an issue. I suppose the question is how much oil & when is it due a cambelt change as it can all be done at the same time.
