Post subject:  Hello From Stoke

Hi Everybody I am Matt from Stoke-on-Trent, owned a few Porsches in the past 2.7 Boxster Seal Grey and a Maritime Blue 968Sport in CS drag which I still own, and loving it. The 968 gets used every couple of days and touch wood had no big issues with it over the last 6 years of ownership. I dropped on a 944S over the Christmas period, having all the receipts and mot certificates from new and work carried out at Hartech I think is worth salvaging this car and hence joining this forum aswell as the 968 forum. Work will start on the car in the spring but in the mean time I am looking at the long trawl for parts, the car is complete however the under neath looks like a rusty trawler so will be needing subframes, brakes, suspension etc. If anybody is from Stoke feel free to get in touch so making the journey a little easier and my door at home is generally open if anybody needs a coffee! lol and lend a hand! lol

Thought she'd have been over the moon with another porker to keep you occupied  I had a similar issue when two porkers turned up on the transporter when my wife was only expecting the one   she's come round to the idea now though!

I'm still collecting porsche parts and have them stashed all around staffordshire in friends houses so the wife doesn't find out. I've started to empty the attic out with the house move and rediscovered some lost parts. Ive got 2 lockers full at work and 3 sets of wheels at work and an engine. I will soon need to start burying the stuff so the wife doesn't see my loot. My daughter knows of the collection and has requested more pocket money or else mum finds out  How did Fred West get away with his secret for so long?

Aha! A storage container, my friend, is the answer. Or,.... fill up your new purchase with the parts and state; "but honey, all these parts came with it. What a bargain. "

Good luck!
