Post subject:  Previous member returns with an itch

Hi guys, it feels great to be back, was a TIPEC member years ago but after a spell of family wagons (still do) and other priorities I have an itch to frive something 'interesting' again albeit at a more modest value than the old days... This has to be one of the most informative and helpful communities anywhere online!

Im not a technical whizz or great with spanners but looking forward to (maybe - best of intentions) getting my hands a bit dirty, prob on a 944 - still cant decide on model as driven good and bad 2.5, 2.7, S2 recently but struggling to find that compromise of condition and price.
They all have their merits and whilst a 70k mile S2 with absolutely no rust, 2 owners, full service history and spotless interior all for £7k would be the grail  , ill settle for any of these as long as its sound and well maintained.

Previously owned: 911t, 911SC, 924S track car, Boxster, Boxster S, Cayenne S, 996 C4S (Riviera Blue and a bit special)...

Anyway, hi everyone, happy new year and I look forward to bugging you all with technical questions which i wont fully understand..
