Hi there peeps, after a couple of days lurking on here i thought I'd do the decent thing and register...
I live in the "metropolis" of Te Awamutu, famous as the birthplace of the Finn brothers from Split Enz and Crowded House. It's also just ten minutes to Carrera Sport, a local indie Porsche specialist.

My P-car is an '88 registered (it's technically an '86) 944 Lux, but fitted with the rear valance from an S2 or 951. The interior's in pretty good nick apart from a few cracks in the dash. It's white, got 190km on the clock, and it does need some mechanical TLC; most notably I think the brake MC needs to be redone, and the needle bearing for the steering column shaft needs replacing.

Ever since seeing the 944 for the first time way back as an easily impressed adolescent when they first appeared, I thought it was a huge improvement over the 924 (apologies to 924 pilots). Finally earlier this year I was in a position to get one.

I'd post a photo but it's literally been years since I posted anything on a forum and can't remember how to!
