Hello everyone,
I registered and joined the club after meeting another contributor at Cadwell park yesterday evening. I won't name and shame as he was cautious enough to change his plates for the event! Nice to meet you though if you read this. Lovely c4 aero too.
My car is a '99 996 c4 silver over red leather with 78k miles. I recently purchased for 12.5k and was ready to make all kinds of allowances for her age but you all know how that turned out! By any standards the condition is lovely with just a sports exhaust and 18" gt3 alloys. Usual lifetime ambition stuff. I'm so delighted with my purchase and wish I had done it sooner. Many years competing in various forms of Motorsport have put paid to that idea though.
I am an engineer with a large defence company and a dedicated petrol head. My other toys include a bike engined Sylva striker(lotus 7 type o fing), a Yamaha fzr400rrsp race bike and a Mitsubishi Delica 4wd daily bus.
I hope I can contribute something to this forum and the club at large. Look forward to meeting other members somewhere soon. Spa might be nice....anyone?

Hi Richard, thanks for the invitation. I'll get along if I can. Any excuse to drag Mrs Simoto out in the car.
Regards
Simon

Hope these pics post ok. I'm no photographer as you'll soon discover. The following should give a general idea of the stable.

Spa you say? We've only just returned from the 'Ring! Fab looking car: the early headlight Carrera is the best looking 996 imo. One of our regulars has one with factory aerokit fitted.
