Hi, I met a couple of you at the Silverstone Classic last year. Really enjoyed our chat and love the ethos of this club, so I've just joined. I'm keen to learn as much knowledge of ownership of 996 / 997 models, as I hope to purchase my first Porsche this year... Hope to meet some of you at members meetings throughout the year. Regards, Ian.

Thanks Jim.

Took it out for a run today and its a really lovely car. The Tiptronic is brilliant and so effortless to drive. The interior is 'Savanah' - I wasn't keen at first, but getting used to it... :D

I love it, don't do dark interiors, so Boxster was Savannah & the Cayenne is Savannah & Natural, so two tone.
Savannah does tend to be a bit "Marmite" I have heard people say they wouldn't buy a Savannah interior car!
