Quick Hi - Newbie

Just a quick intro, ive just joined TIPEC Cheshire crew, i had the pleasure of attending the Tatton Park 2008 event with my 1980 911SC Targa, unfortunatley as some of you experienced i had a few teething problems on arrival (Alternator bolt came loose and locked fan !!) just like to say a big thanks to all who mucked in on the day to get the car running again.

Yeh, had to order a new fan (not cheap) when trying to remove the fan made a mess of the treads on the alternator shaft, ended up trying to press out the fan bending it then cutting it off the shaft to re-cut threads. Just got it back onthe road last week. As you may have read looking at blanking off the EGR and cleaning up dissy this weekend wish me luck !!!
