I’ve made a mistake in the April issue of All Torque, and wanted to make a wee apology on the forum.

The East Midlands Region report is missing. Chris Belfield sent it to me by email, but it doesn’t look like it ever arrived, so I went ahead and finished the mag without it.

I should have double checked with Chris as to why it hadn’t turned up.

Sorry Chris, and sorry to everyone in EMR who was looking for their region’s info!

We’ll get the missing report polished up between us and post it up here.

I love the Cayenne picture on the cover, any more details about that car? Is it actually in Gulf colours or is it just the orange bits that make a silver car look blue?

Just to let you know, the Cayenne S on the front cover is called "Transsyberia" it was made just for this rally. :)

The story goes that privateer teams in the 2006 Trans-Syberia Rally made a lot of modifications to the standard Cayenne S, so for 2007 Porsche released a limited number (26 I think) of specced-up ‘official’ versions. They did likewise for 2008.

Porsche have a website about them here. They were available in black or silver.

Right, that’s done. It’s over here in the Gruppe Central forum.
