Just in case anyone’s been expectantly watching their doormat …

It’s on it’s way. May well end up being a week or so later than usual but the printers/distributors are working on it.

Can't wait - wonder if I'll get it this time, or have to re-request it? :?:

The postal strikes seem to have died down, but now it’s the Christmas mail rush …

We had some brilliant contributions this time. After the quiet previous few months, both Sean and I asked for more submissions—and you guys came through in spades. I ended up with twice as much as I could physically fit into the magazine. You can probably see as you flick through that the pages are very text-heavy and lacking in big pictures, so that I could squeeze more in!

Anybody whose submissions didn’t make it in—it’s purely down to space, not a reflection on quality! I keep hold of everything and often use older pieces when running short of new articles. Your pieces still might see the light of day!

Thanks to everyone, as always.

Another great read.

Bonus for me was the beefed up 928 content (Steve Jone's technical piece snd Chris Woods' running report), and my son getting a mention in the editorial (thanks Sean, he will be thrilled when he gets back from school today)! Was bowled over to have photo in AT of Richard Attwood signing autograph for me on a 1969 photo of the original 917 homologation line-up. Will treasure this issue.

Hi,

Just a note to say how much I enjoyed this months mag. I was really surprised at how thick it was - Bumper edition! I'm particularly impressed with the article on pages 6 and 7.

Regards,

Ben :bounce:

Thanks Brian. Was very thoughtful of you to send it. It's an excellent photo and have printed it off this morning. Will treasure it along with MOTY.

I didn't get Januarys. Feb just arrived and I got someone else's address sheet behind my one. Does this mean they might not of got their issue?

Do you mean December’s mag, or the new February one? Or both?

If you drop Dave Doherty a line on membership@tipec.net and let him know your name, address and membership number, he should be able to help. Dave keeps the list of members up to date for the distributors to send out your magazines.

It does mean the other member in question may not have had a magazine, yes. Could you drop Dave a line as well, so he can double-check?

There’s a good chance Dave doesn’t have spare copies of the magazine, but if he can work out what’s needed and for whom, we can try and source some.

My memory has now kicked in and I remember getting the December mag, it was the one with the 911 Cab on the cover wasn't it?

I think I got confused with the fact your avatar is now showing a different cover. Not expecting to have gotten my mits on the Feb issue yet and not sure if I do or not as they're still going to my Parent's address, who do I need to contact in order to get that changed?
