Post subject:  battery draining issues on a 911 carrera sc convertible 1986

does anybody have any idea why the battery on my car is going flat in a couple of days,battery has been recently replaced,can,t see anything left on when the ignition key is taken out.any pointers would be greatly received,also require two roof closing motors if anyone knows where I might be able to get any spares ,cheers Roy

Hi Roy,

You need to use a multimeter, or if you have blade fuses Ono of these to identify if there is a drain on a particular circuit.

I do have a multimeter just wondering if there is anything that it might be ,like a common fault,cheers

Glove box light or door courtesy light under the dash.

Is there an alarm / immoboliser on your car? If it's old might be worth getting it checked.
