Southern Region Feb meet

Club night Next Tuesday see you all there, nothing planned so just a chat etc !!
Everyone welcome new and old.
Please see regions (click here) for directions to the meeting place.

The True lovers knot
Tarrant Keyneston
NR Blandford forum
Dorset

Start 8-8:30
The pub has good car parking. The pub has good food, both restaurant and bar menu are available. Large garden facilities are available and barbeques and pig roasts are available in the summer. A good time for all the family can be had .
The landlord is a nice guy and is more than pleased to have us there.
Distances are:
Salisbury 26
Poole 13
Bournemouth 18
Warminster 31
Yeovil 29
Weymouth 27
Shaftesbury 16
Sherborne 24
Swanage 25

Which is roughly fair for all the major towns.
The journey from any of these locations is all on major A roads and the last little bit is 3/4 mile on a good well surfaced B road the B 3082 (so good we thought it was an A road !)
I will be there to kick things off and I will buy the first person there a pint !!

Look forward to seeing you all

Hi :)

Lol....its not very waterproof as it is...

We were discussing a way to turn up at St Tropez harbour and be cool, or rather cooler than a giant power boat/Sunseeker etc...

I said why not a "personal" submarine. ex navy etc....now that would be cool...

Dont you think ?

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

Ah well in that case . I could strap it on to top front (bow ? pointy end) of my personal submarine ?

That would double cool...points wise :)

All the best Brett :)

does having a submarine mean you would have to wear one of those roll neck jumpers that make you look like a willy??

why do we end up with these strange discussions at Southern meets? remember the one about how fast you would have to go to get under a horse without it dropping on you?
