Hi Everyone,

My 944 needs a major service, cam belt, water pump, idlers. Anyone recommend a good mechanic that knows his way around 944 s2 and is reasonable? I am happy to help if it helps?

My car is 89 944 s2 and its been sitting for nearly a year and I want it to get it back on the road asap.

Thanks
Kam

Where are you, we have a great Porsche mechanic down here in Christchurch, very reasonable, and a member too! Firm is Silvertune, proprietor is Eddie.

Probably a bit too far, Christchurch is near Bournemouth. Must be someone half decent over your way though? good luck with your quest.

Where in Essex ?

Porschacare in Stevenage isn't that far from some parts in Essex but miles from others.
Great technician and very reasonable rates too

Thanks Jason

I'm in Ilford. Ive had my fair share of mechanics who say they are experts and do not carry the work out properly. Lucky for me I am technically minded and have worked in cars for sometime. I've a family now and sadly dont have time to work on this lovely car.
