Hi All

I hope you've all been out enjoying your cars in the recent good weather.

It was nice to see 13 cars out for our Curry run last weekend, the sun was out and we had a couple of hours fun driving around the Berkshire roads before heading back for a great Curry buffet lunch.

Our next drive out is to find the source of the Thames on Sunday 8th June

We will meet meet mid morning at jct 8 on the M40, the drive to Kemble in Glocs should take just over an hour and a half.

On arrival at the site we will park up at the pub and take a short walk to find the source of the Thames, then a short walk back to the pub for some lunch.

Paul has kindly worked out two routes, the outward trip takes us north of Oxford and the return trip comes south and brings us back to the M4 near Newbury, perfect for the A34 for those heading North and M4 for those heading East

Outward Route

Return Route

Please can you let me know if you intend on joining us as we need a rough idea of numbers

Hope to see you on the 8th

Jason

Just a Reminder
June's Monthly Meet is on Tuesday 3rd and this month will be featuring the AirCooled models

I have contacted people individually but just to confirm the meet point is Oxford services on the M40 at 10:30.

Unlike this morning, the weather is looking good for the drive.

See you all tomorrow

Jason

Have fun - I was hoping to make this as my first outing with the club, but all calipers are off for a refurb due to plate lift. Fingers crossed for the weather..

ps. thanks jason for the kind offer of a spare seat.. :D

Excellent day out, even though I was one of the "lost souls" on the outbound journey. I managed to stay in formation on the way back !

Here's us departing the Thames Head:

A big thank you to Jason and Paul for organising this.

Thanks Paul and Jason. We had a great drive and it's much more rewarding when you actually stay part of the pack. If any one wants them I have the routes as tom tom files. It took us 2.5 hrs to get back to London tho, painful!!
