Well unbelievably it had been 7 years since we last did this but it was worth the wait :D

13 cars and 20 people in total met at our monthly haunt of the Novello, we then proceeded to make the most of Berkshire's fabulous roads for the next two hours, some of us using different routes

The curry was Fab, all you can eat for just £10, although puds and drinks knock the price up a bit.

Fantastic to meet up with two of our new members for the first time and some we don't see that often.

Some pics to follow when i get them

Glad you all had a good day, I trust you kept a reasonable pace in my absence? :D

Any pics?

As a first timer I had a great day, despite my navigational nightmare. Next time I'll pay more attention to the briefing before tearing off after the fast cars!! Thanks for organising this Jason. Also thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome, can't wait until the next one.

A fantastic outing. A spirited drive in great weather followed by good nosh and great company.

Here's Team 996 & 997 contemplating St James-The-Less on the way to the excellent Cinnamon Tree venue.

Thanks to Jason for organising this. We're looking forward to the Source of the Thames run.

Great to meet you and glad you enjoyed it, hopefully will have more time to look at the car next time.

Yes, following the "Splinter Group" in the 44 was perhaps unwise :D
but even the other group got split up but remarkably met at a junction at exactly the same time from different directions

NOTE TO SELF:
when re planning routes, way points need to be in the correct part of the road or you'll get problems with the sat nav and deleting said way point will result in the cross country bit (which was actually very good)
