Hi everyone, New forum member just saying Hello. I'm in deepest Cornwall, bit off the beaten track but I'm sure a few of you venture down here on your hols....

I've had my Midnight Blue 968 coupe for over 12 years now, I imported it myself from Italy, so the steering wheel's on the wrong side. The car still goes beautifully at 133,000 Km, pulls and steers well for a 22 year old car. LHD isn't often much of an issue.

I was a TIPEC member a few years ago, went through a very bad spell with a nasty divorce and let the membership lapse. The car suffered a bit too but I'm in a much better position to turn it around now. MOT tomorrow so I'll see what's really needed then. The car's been SORN since last September with just an outdoor cover under a bit of shelter. I'm planning on another 6 months driving it then probably another period SORN but in a garage this year.

Planning on a bit of DIY car tinkering this year, might be needing some advice!

Thanks Paul, the car was about the only asset that I was left with. I expect the sentimental value will always outweigh the financial.

Hi Speedster. I am also a new forum member and now want to re-export my LHD 968 cabrio back to France.
Did you by any chance keep your LHD headlamps as I need to change mine now. Buy or would happily do a swap? Mobile is 07770453023 Thanks. Pete :roll:
