Hello all,

I have agreed with James and Sean to take over the running of South Central as the new Regional Organiser for the region. I have been a TIPEC member for almost a year and a Porsche fan for much longer. I live in the South Central region (outside Bedford) but have been going to Peterborough meetings. I’ve met a few people who live in the region so I thought I’d volunteer to help get meetings going again and look to grow our number.

The first duty is to arrange a meeting at a time and place to suit you. Please can you let me know if you would be interested to meet up and where you are coming from. I can then look at a suitable venue and date. It would be great to do something in January/February.

Given some people like email, some Facebook and some telephone calls, I have created a new Facebook Group for us to use to share our passion for the cars and keep up to date with regional news. The link is here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/southcentraltipec/

I've emailed all SC members with my mobile number too so feel free to pick up the phone if you prefer.

All the best,
Nick

The Sharnbrook Hotel would be a good one, the owner is a proper petrolhead and quite a few car and motorcycle clubs meet there, including the Porsche Owners Club GB. Another car club friendly pub would be The Cock in Broom, Beds. SC would be ideal for me as I live in Olney on the Bucks,Beds, Northants border :)
