I'm in with my Radical, paid earlier today. Looking forward to it.
We are going to change the Radical gear shift system next week to paddles with a full throttle, clutchless up change and a clutchless electronic blip system for downchanges. I am going to need practice! :x

If you were competing in a sprint event, that might be true, but this isn't timed or anything like that. Having been to both Blyton and Curborough, it could be argued that Curborough is safer than Blyton as there's only ever one car on the track at once.

Cheers,
Bryan

If you compete in an MSA authorised sprint then fully compliant helmet, overalls, gloves, shoes and depending on the car, Hans device are mandatory. All items have to be in date compliance too. Seat belts are also inspected.
Curborough is more technical than Blyton but both are pretty safe. You are right that there is a considerable safety margin because of the one car on the track at Curborough although if Curborough is wet be careful of the proximity of the barriers at some parts of the track. Ask me how I know!

David

I have a spare motorbike lid which will probably do; you are welcome to borrow it if you want to.

I give no guarantees of its performance however!

Could I have a place please? Only down the road from me so it would be silly not to take advantage.
Let me know what I need to do.

Cheers

Hi,

If there is still a space left, I am interested?

I am from the Cheshire group...

And it would make for great day on my birthday (May 24th).

Cheers
Matt

The Camping & Caravan Club site on Cannock Chase is close by if you want somewhere with full facilities? 10-15 mins from Curburough & 5 mins from me so you could follow me into Curburough if not sure where it is :-)

Excellent you can't really get any closer to Curburough sprint course than Fullbrook Farm lol (when you get there the sprint course is just the other side of the big wnd turbine so left out of farm onto Watery Lane to T junction turn right onto Wood End Lane then Curburough turning Netherstowe Lane is approx 3/4 mile on right).

Its a Camping & Caravan members only site which is why I didn't mention that one.

The Swan on the A38 at Fradley will be your closest pub for food or its only 10 mins into Lichfield City center.
