Hi There,
Just an update following last night’s Club meeting, with the dark nights now here and the cold and icy weather not too far away, it has been put forward that we try a new format this winter, this will not only make it safer for travelling but we may even see more faces at our Club meetings.
From now until March 2012 the Club meeting will be on the 1st Sunday of each month at The Red Lion in Evenley NN13 5SH from 9:30 – Noon, this will replace the 4th Monday night meeting.
Why The Red Lion, the pub holds a Classic Car event on the 1st Sunday so not only are we out in the daylight and hopefully above freezing we will also have different cars of all types to look around and talk to their owners. The pub will supply Tea, Coffee and bacon rolls (for a fee) plus bar drinks after 11am.

I have emailed a copy of the new 2011 -2012 Club meeting plan to SC members, if you haven’t received it please pm me, this shows the dates of the Sunday meetings which we will continue throughout the year as an extra meeting in the summer.
In March we are looking to start the Club nights with a curry night and then from April to September at the Old Talbot for good summer evening drinks chat.
Christmas meal is looking at the moment to be at the Talbot, I will send out another email on this matter later.

Going on how accurate last Sunday's forecast was, this Sunday will probably be 28 degrees and clear blue skies. Bring the sun cream and shades.

Well need the shades to look at Mat's car, gleaming at the end .Just sneaked in If you notice the crowd is all around Mats car

This Sunday 6th November is the first South Central Sunday morning club meeting which will replace the 4th Monday night meeting, it’s from 9:30/10:00 to Midday at The Red Lion in Evenley NN13 5SH. If the weather is dry then we will try again with the photo shoot.

Have to say the Red Lion is a superb choice. Best coffee i have had in ages , bacon butties were good too. I am sure this will be a very popular meeting, looking forward to next months
P.S thanks for making my pal with the Shelby so welcome, he thought he would be in for a yank bashing day.He is already talking about attending next month with another of his toys,
hopefully he wont try to reverse into my car next time
