Now that the organizational requirements are over for the 2008 Cape to Cape Tour and we're safely back, I shall try even harder to get to Tealby. My major issue, funnily enough, is that my Parish Plan responsibilities usually mean that we can only have meetings on a Wednesday...and usually the second in the month, owing to the commitments of other members. (One of the reasons that I had to pull out of RO responsibilities...as well as the niggling health issue, now down to a 6 monthly check up in Louth.)

Carolyn and i did complete the 1200 miles Tour...but not in the 912. That broke down on the M1 on the way to Cornwall on the Saturday afternoon and we were brought back on the back of a low loader. We then transferred everything to our 2002 KIA, and completed the Tour in that. Just not quite the same!

But we raised very nearly £4500 for all our troubles.

Hopefully I'll be at Tealby on 13th...
