Just a general heads-up for casual browsers of this section of the forum who may be thinking to themselves 'there ain't much happening in the 'North', is it worth bothering with?' Quite simply - yes, it is worth bothering with: there's loads happening, and the regional facebook groups have just about taken over completely from this section of the forum. Cheshire and Staffs are busy - they attend lots of shows, busy monthly club night, a few drives etc. North West is very busy - fewer shows, but drives out, busy monthly club night, trade visits etc. Cumbria Area, North West Region - monthly meeting, occasional events and under the 'North West umbrella'. Yorkshire Region is ticking over quite nicely - monthly meetings and drives out over the 'Dales etc. North East has a new Regional Organiser and a new monthly meeting. Early days yet, but slowly gathering momentum. If you want to get involved with any or all of the regions mentioned, check the regional pages of the club's main website for contact details, or search FB for the regional group pages where you'll be able to interact with existing members and find out exactly what's going on. |
