Hi Folks,

Many thanks to all the members that filled the room at the Whipping Stocks on Tuesday evening - it was a squeeze with standing room only!

This was indeed our last meeting at the Whipping Stocks where The Great Debate on where future meetings should be held was decided.

Taking account of the primary need being for a private room, large car park and within reasonable location compared to the current venue it was a close call between The Kilton Inn and The Three Greyhounds with favour just about for The Kilton Inn.

We will book a trial period for meetings at the Kilton Inn from November and will evaluate your feedback and potentially trial The Three Greyhounds as well before a long term venue is finally decided.

Gareth, Stef, Ian and myself are conscious that the meeting is still located in the northern reaches of the Cheshire & Staffs region to which travel from Staffordshire can take some time. We are therefore considering a second club night (initially bi-monthly) specifically in the Staffordshire area on the first Tuesday of the month. It would be great if you could let us have suggestions on potential venues - as you know, we fully enjoy the drives out and visiting some wonderful pubs!

Please let us know thoughts, feedback and ideas on this idea and we hope to see you all very soon indeed!

Regards
