Look folks, i know you didn't think much of The Boatyard, but there was no need to BURN IT DOWN! I read in the Chorley Guardian that it'll be 'closed for the foreseeable future' after a fire last week. No casualties, but totally wrecked. See you at The Railway then..... Tim |

The Boatyard was fine for us until the refurb: the removal of the 'coffee shop' area meant there was no suitable meeting room and the new manager greeted me and Colin with an attitude of total indifference when we visited after the re-opening to discuss club meetings. Worryingly, this is the seocond pub to burn down after tipec NW have been and left - the first being the Dressers Arms in Wheelton... |
