Lots happening with the North West region in April and early May. Read it and weep: On Sunday 9th April it’s the First Northern’ish Inter Region Meeting at Collingham. This is taking place at the Half Moon pub in Collingham (LS22 5NZ) from 9.00am. Darren will be leading a convoy to the meet from a top secret muster point near Clitrheroe (contact the regional organisers for the postcode), leaving between 8.00 and 08.15. Full details are available on our regional page of the main club website: tipec.net On Monday 10th it’s our usual monthly club night at The Railway, from about 7pm with ‘club business’ dealt with at 8pm. Instead of a Friday Feast or Chippy Tea Run in April we have a charity casino night happening on Friday 21st April. Tickets have sold well, but there are a few left (at £20 each) so contact the regional organisers to reserve yours. It's in Leyland so there'll be no riff-raff knocking about. On Sunday 30th April several of us are heading down to the Donnington Historic Festival to join the TIPEC display. If you fancy joining in, we’re meeting at Lymm Services for breakfast and leaving there at 8.00 to be at Donnington for about 09.30. If you haven’t got a ticket there’s a discount code in the current All Torque. Also the club has been invited to the first ‘Unique Porsche Sunday’ event. Unique Porsche is a relatively new Porsche service/repair outfit specialising in the water-cooled cars. They’re at Unit 4A, James Street Industrial Estate, Westhoughton, BL5 3QR and are holding an informal coffee morning event on Sunday 7th May from about 10.00.
