Sunday 7th June, Cleveleys Car Show at err, Cleveleys! We will be meeting at the Villa Express, Kirkham, PR4 3HE at about 08.30 to be on-the-road at 08.45 sharp. The Villa Express is just off the M55 at junction 3.

From there we hope to be able to convoy to Cleveleys and join the display on the prom. All welcome: bring the kids, granny and the dog!

Play nicely

It's always going to be a dilemma for a National Car Club where you have the National Event.

One Marque events are expensive to put on and with a saturated Classic Car events calendar it's getting harder to organise. We moved away from the Midlands which was more central because we struggled to get the support locally to make it happen efficiently.

A Northern venue would be good, if we can find one and have the local support to pull it all together.

The other elephant in the room is that it is not that well attended by Club members. We still on average only ever see around 30% of the club at anything we do either locally or nationally.

North West region had 8 cars and 12 drivers booked for Blyton, a National Event. Don't think anyone can say we don't support club events - especially the ones that need support.

No one is questioning the support of the region, turn out for Blyton from North West was excellent. :thumbleft:

We have strayed off topic

Have a good show on Sunday, look forward to seeing the pics :)

Another successful event for tipec nw. 10 cars in attendance and displayed on the prom. The club gas stove/frying pan combo was used to good effect, supplying bacon sandwiches for all our guys and girls that wanted them.

Thanks to all that came along.
