TIPEC SCOTLAND
SEPTEMBER 2014 MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES.

Welcome to tonight's meeting where we were down in numbers as many are still away on holiday , 10 pax and 5 Porkers in the car park. A very warm welcome to Mario and Margaret there first time along to the TIPEC club and the very proud and long serving owners of a nice 1987 944 to which has been owned by them for over 25 years wow. Welcome along to the club and I hope you enjoyed the banter at tonight's meeting and we look forward to seeing you future up and coming events.

Next was a big thanks to everyone who attended Scotland's Largest gathering of Porsches on Sunday past a huge success and a total of 123 Porkers on display to which is the Largest gathering ever in Scotland to be seen to date (until next year as there will be more). Brian Wood put the show together and Brian has came along tonight to thank everyone who helped with the show on the day. We all enjoyed helping you Brian to which you did a lot of hard work behind the scene's and this reflected on the day with a massive turnout and the sun shone all day for us. We look forward to next year's show and is now a well established event once a year in Scotland to which we all enjoyed.

This Sunday(7th September) will see us visit Boness to the famous Boness Hill Climb event we have now a full quota of cars attending and I have circulated a separate email to everyone regarding timings and meet details etc we will have full catering as per normal and our own Margaret Adey and her 1969 911T will be competing in this event and we will be cheering Margaret on every inch of the way.

Next on the region's diary of events will be Sunday 21st of September and a trip to the ever popular Selkirk Classic Car Show I still have 3 or 4 passes up for grabs for this one so let me know ASAP if you wish to join us for the day and again I will circulate a separate email regarding meet details etc in due course. A great show with plenty of content and just pray for good weather on the day.

The October meet will be the usual time and place here at Boness Motor Museum 1930 for a 2000 HRS kick off to which will be quiz night with a few prizes thrown into the mix. So get your knowledge head on and we will organise teams on the evening and have a fun evening I am sure. All members and members family etc welcome for this one.

November just as a reminder on the 27th (Thursday) we will be having a ten pin bowling evening at Deer Park in Livingston and closer to the day I will email all with timing and costs etc. Also there will be a few prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and again all members and immediate family welcome along to this evening.

Elaine Whitelaw has put together a superb Christmas Bash event on at Barony Castle Nr Peebles and to date we have 28 bodies attending and if you wish to find out more regarding the Christmas night out the contact Elaine direct for further info etc. The date this year is Saturday 20th December. Thanks Elaine for drafting this one up and getting it all sorted. I will circulate info again soon regarding balance payments etc as many have paid the deposit only and will require to pay in full prior to the event.
