TIPEC SCOTLAND
JUNE 2014 MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES.

Welcome to everyone to this month's meeting 30 bodies and a few Porkers in the car park at Bill Dalgetty's vintage and classic car restorations . This event was instead of the normal Boness Motor Museum monthly meet. Bill had on display at various stages of repair and restoration many classic cars in vintage and classic Porsche inc 2 x 356s from the 50s and 60s era plus a 1985 911 Carrera and a 924 Martini shell all currently being restored. This was an evening whereby we had a talk on the history of a very special race car form the 1940's and Bill himself did some demo metal work on the wheelie machine to which many questions etc were asked and answered. A lovely buffet and drinks were provided also to help the evening along so all in all a very different club night and a chance to see some very different cars including Porsche's being restored back to there former glory. Many thanks to Bill and the team for a very enjoyable evening and the buffet with home cooking went down a treat I have to say.

Next on the agenda will be the Errol show on Sunday 8th June we will meet at Kinross services at 0830/0845 depart for the show approx 30 miles away. Another great show with a huge outdoor and indoor market next to the show so again something for everyone at the show and as always a very popular show with auto jumble etc etc. The gazebo tea/coffee etc will be with us as per the norm.

I have emailed all going to Beaulieu separately regarding the Saturday and Sunday weekend visit, for those wishing to visit this event please visit the club's website for full details regarding the Saturday Club run/hog roast drive and the show on the Sunday. If you are not going and are thinking of going then let me know ill add you to the list of to who is going and can arrange to meet up etc.

Moffat classic car rally this year will be on the 29th June and I have reserved 20 spaces for this show and have 13 confirmed already so be quick to get your name down good show with approx just under a 1000 vehicles on display plus good auto jumble and a nice town to walk round I have to say with plenty shops etc open even on a Sunday. I will at a later date email meet details etc closer to the day in question. Please let me know if you wish to come to this show and I will add you to the list.

On July 13th will be the Glamis Castle event another super location application has been sent of for this one and meet details etc will be to follow by email as well as confirmed at the July meeting at Boness.
