TIPEC SCOTLAND
FEBRUARY 2014 MONTHLY
MEETING MINUTES.

A warm welcome to all this evening, 12 bodies and 1 porker in the car park this cold wet February evening. A special welcome to James Stenhouse a new member and the proud owner of a 1976 911 2.7. Welcome to the club James and everyone was introduced.

First thing on this evenings agenda was the RO/ARO nominations, as we are all aware Alan Neilson stood down this year as the ARO for the West Of Scotland due to work and new family commitments. Alan has done the region proud over the years and he will very much remain part of the region as a member.
So no new nominations for the RO and ARO East Of Scotland so those standings remain and we are both happy to remain on the position and to serve the region for another year. Elaine Whitelaw was put forward for the West Of Scotland ARO position and this motion was seconded and carried forward formally with no other nominations coming forward. Well done Elaine and we welcome you on board to the RO/ARO squad. Elaine takes up her role with immediate effect and will be looking into the 2014 Christmas bash in due course.

Next and to be honest took up the majority of the evening was the SVVF book to which we all decide as a group to what the season will entail. Many thanks for your impute and suggestions and over the next few weeks we will compile the diary of events for the whole season based on the suggestions and shows available to us. There is a Spring Run confirmed as is the Annual Trip to Beaulieu ( please see separate info for these 2 events) Also confirmed will be the annual BBQ and Concourse event on the 20th July and Calderglen Scotland's largest gathering of Porsche's will be on the 31st of August at East Kilbride. As I have said the diary of events will be confirmed very soon and we will keep you up to date the region's activates ASAP.

The next monthly meeting will be on the 5th of March 2014, and we will be looking at putting the season ahead and the nominations etc for RO and ARO and looking at your suggestion forms also. Please if you are unable to attend submit your nomination(s) and suggestions via email to myself contact details below.
