Just had my renewal notice from Adrian Flux £228 fully comp Social/Domestic/Pleasure and Commuting, protected NCD, £250 excess £90 windscreen excess, legal cover no courtesy car. For a 48yr old with over 11 year NCD limited mileage 7500/year parked on my driveway. For my 1991 944S2 £6000 valuation.

Tried the quotezone on this website and cheapest was someone I never heard of at £235.

Best I have had so far is PerformanceMarque who did like they said on the website and phoned me back, they cam in at £211 with the same excess as I have now but including a courtesy car only £60 for windscreen excess and one years free membership to the PCGB with Royal Sun Alliance.

Going to shop a bit more but tempted with this one but not because of the free membership I might add as already been a member before so I already know what the dark side is like.

Do you have to have another car for the Flux quote? Sounds pretty good to me. They are good when you need them.

No the 944 is my only registered car, I am a named driver on my Wifes company car and do have a motorcycle nut don't think this counts. I am probably going to go for the Performance Marque quote but need to ask them some questions about breakdown cover as they state you get it in this months all Torque where they are advertising.

Went with Performance Marque, although Adrian Flux did beat the original quote they could not offer such a good deal on the breakdown and home start UK and European cover so went with PerformanceMarque for £236 which includes breakdown cover, £500 audio cover if none standard, courtesy car, legal cover, protected NCD, my Wife as named driver, 12 months subscription to PCGB, windscreen excess £60 (AF wanted £90). Porsche approved parts and repair service in the event of a claim.

So very happy and great service, they are actually advertising in this months All Torque pg 33.

Also believe they give discount to PCGB members as the insurance company they use Royal Sun Alliance work closely with them.

They had not even heard of TIPEC when I asked them if they gave discount, although happy enough with the price.

Yes think it is who you are, what you drive and the mood of the day, I got a quote from Haggerty which made my eyes water over £465 with a huge excess, so went to PerformanceMarque.

Who true to their word got my documents out next day post, also sent the details via email, phoned to make sure I had them and was happy with them and did as stated include a years free membership to PCGB.

Odd its so high from Haggerty. I pay less than £100 for my 928 through them.
Is it your main car?

Yes this is my only car although I am a named driver on my Wifes company car and have a motorcycle. Anyway quite happy with the £211 plus I got breakdown assistance UK Euro and homestart for £25 when I was paying £49 before.
