Check the insurance forum further down in the maintenance section, lots of discussions there. Personally I'm with Heritage, £230. Agreed value, modified, 3000 miles, 3rd car but I live in a very rural/low crime area. Club members get discounts with other insurers aswell  . Check in your copy of All Torque or a back issue listed on the TIPEC Home page for discounts.

It helps if you can park off road on private land. I live in a flat but have my own parking space. With out it I couldn't get a classic policy. Mods not a problem with a classic policy. Mine is NIG. Daily drive. 10K max.

Lindsay I had the same & have been with the through 2 renewals since.

To the OP you may find it difficult toto get a true "classic" policy as a daily driver. To most of the companies these are mutually exclusive. Especially once you exceed the 7.5K or 10K miles level.

i think true classic insurance does not allow you to travel to/from your place of work, altho' you will be able to get an everyday policy with a limited mileage

My insurance with the 928 does - I asked for it to cover me for the school holidays when there is less traffic on the road and I wanted to give the 944 a rest :D
