I have used Hagerty for the last 3 years after coming into contact with them at the NEC. When I called them on Saturday to add the C4S to my policy they came up trumps again.

I have 3 Porsches with agreed values, full euro breakdown recovery insured for less than the Speedster was costing with a popular classic insurer.

Their policies are primarily geared towards classic and sports cars that are 2nd cars and not being used for work. They take a sensible view when it comes to multi vehicle policies in that you can only drive one at once.

I'll second that Sean, they are one of the few who permit a classic policy car not to be garaged.

I use them also, find them excellent, have the 993 and a 12 year old landy 90 (classic) on also, mind you Jim I find they are very keen on garaged cars , at least in my case , although from memory this is because of the agreed values, but I may be wrong.

I agree they gave a fantastic quote for my car £200ish, but the car had to be garaged!
Mayb its the area or sumthing?

I've been quoted £120 garaged, and £155 on the drive for a 911 SC - faultless.

I’ve been talking to them this week. They’re the only company who can beat my current insurer’s renewal price … but sadly they can’t give me enough milage allowance, so I had to turn them down.

Their website quote thing was down, so rang tham got no answer. Dropped them an email. Not heard either from that..

Must be bad luck!

Hagerty have proved to be a first class company with very sensible rates - but make sure you have plenty of time when you phone them - because they are all "Petrolheads" like the rest of us - and time means nothing when talking about "Classic's"

First class service, first class price. Can't sing their praises enough.
Based at Silverstone I see .... they must get to be around cars all week?
