I did my 944 with them and got the same deal as Lancaster offered for my old 924 - I also tok up the breakdown/recovery option which was very reasonable considering the cover offered.... And of course there was the Aston Martin trip.....

Well, tried Adrian Flux, bit of a last resort to be honest, they were always way over the top with my series land rover, but got a pleasant surprise, £140, fully comp, parked on my drive, 5000 mile limit, legal cover etc etc, well happy with that.

Yeah Adrian Flux are pretty good with the 944 and 924 quotes.

Asset Trust are good with 996, 986 etc

It does make me chuckle, why you guys get so emotional about insurance premiums :)

It is really simple, you buy the best policy for the cheapest price. There are a bucket load of variables that effect what you pay. The biggest will be monthly sales targets

We have an association with Assett Trust because we know Paul and the policies are very good. When you are at the top of Stelvio mid afternoon with a broken car, you appreciate the quality of your cover. Getting rescued, taken to a decent hotel, whilst your car gets dropped off for repair.

Assett Trust pay the Club to be our insurance partner, if the policies are not competitive they will have wasted their money.

Just one thing you need to mindful of. If you take out insurance and say that you are a member of the Club, in the event of a claim, they do check with us

Thanks Sean

I struggled when I bought the Boxster, the 944 on a classic policy had been £130 or so, everyone wanted four figures for the Boxster :o
Adrian Flux quoted £800 which I reluctantly took. The next year when we had signed up with Asset Trust Paul quoted £346 by far the cheapest.
As part of the cover we get ALPS rescue for Europe, which TBH I wasn't worried about as I have Gold AA cover for UK. As it happened this mean I didn't need to get AA 5 star for the Porsche Passes & Palaces tour. The Boxster as Sean alludes to decided to knacker its gearbox linkage at the top of the Stelvio Pass. ALPS recovered us from the top of the mountain, put us in a nice hotel, delivered the car to OPC Bergamo 180 Ks away. The 3 days later Taxi'd & hire car'd us across to Bergamo. Total cost to us was 180 Euro for food & drink in the hotel & 22 Euro for hire car petrol.

The whole thing although a PITA was great from the point that ALPS through Mondiale managed it all. To say we were a tad stressed is an understatement.

Hi All :)

I dont suppose ASSET TRUST do Nitrous policies ?

I HAVE to insure with Adrian Flux as they will insure any car with Nitrous as long as its a Wizards of Nos system....

It would be nice to have a choice... I pay around £600 a year for my 928 including Nitrous plus business insurance and an agreed value...

All the best Brett :)
