On a more positive note..................

I received my renewal from 2Gether and renewed in less than 24 hrs. Today, I have received all the paperwork and a mileage declaration, which I will complete and return when the renewal takes place on 9 Aug.

Back on a less positive note put some requests for quotations online for my 944S2 details including where the car was parked overnight etc input to the system. Had numerous calls back but got one email from 2gether insurance so phoned them to check the price as it was £195 + £25 breakdown cover which was around £60 less than my best quote to date. Spoke to one of the guys there very helpful and sounded promising gave my details again including where the car was parked overnight (on private driveway) he said he needed to check the best deal but thought they should be able to beat my other quotes and would ring back, which he did within 10 minutes (good news) (bad news) is they would not be able to beat the price I had as the car was parked on the driveway so I decided to stay with my original quotation £281 inc AA breakdown (home start & European cover etc) plus legal cover and £250 excess Carole Nash. So much for the promise of beating like for like quotes then!
