Get a De-humidifier or 2 in the garage, then buy half a dozen 25 L camping water bags, by the end of winter have a great supply of distilled/deionised water for car rinsing

Reduce your water streaks by rinsing off with water with a few drips of dishwasher rinse-aid in - do it with a watering can, quick leather off - done. my car hasn't had any polish (apart from the Turtle wash n wax) in 3 years
