Hello all, I bought some of this recently and was horrified at the amount of crap that came out of the leather! I honestly don't think it has ever been cleaned since the car left the showroom. I started doing this job and like all the other jobs I have done on the car I severely underestimated how long it would take and a good hour later all I had done is half of the passenger seat!
I was just wondering if anyone else on here has used this stuff and if anyone can advise me the best way to go about it i.e should I give each seat a quick tickle and repeat a few times or should I go at each seat with plenty of elbow grease making sure I get right into the cracks? I did the latter last week and traces of red started to appear on the cloth. I should point out that the seats are can can red and I really want to get it right as apparently they are as rare as hens teeth in a 944S.
P.S can anyone recommend a good upholsterer in the Manchester area as I have a tear in the drivers seat. Thanks in advance.
Andy Bruce.

Really sound guy in Leigh. Did my seats for me - and you pay Leigh prices.

cant help you with the repair, but I can with the cleaning !

use warm water, and have the leather warm if you can (heaters on, in the sun etc)

apply with one damp warm towel, work in gently, then rinse off with another wetter warm towel.
then, dry off straight away.
this way you clean, rinse, and dry off he product without getting the leather too wet.
Don't rub too hard, as you may remove dye from the cracks, and scratch the surface.

Repeat until you get no more dirt on the towels.
that's it !
