Sorry to see that. I had a similar scratch on the rear panel of mine that was repaired by a guy in Tamworth. Its not noticable unless you know its there (If you know what I mean)?
Not as bad as your mishap, But on Sunday I returned the car to the garage after a 3 hour clean, polish and quick blast down the road, only to run over a set of golf clubs  . Could have been worse, they were my Son's and not mine  .

That's the franchise I used. The quality will depend on who does the job. The chap in Tamworth had been doing the job for years. I had a number of other chips and a major scrape under my front spoiler (Previous owner, honest), that they repaired. He even touched up my alloys. Cost around £60 if memory serves me right?
All the best with the repair.

How sick does it make you feel when you scratch your own car? Feelin for you bud

I use Image Car Care in Solihull. Worked on most of my cars over the years and I've always been happy. Had a similar scratch on Sarah's 3-series that was finished to a (near) perfection. Their workshop is only a mile from my house so I take the car to them but they do have a mobile service too. (these guys came to TiPEC national event at Walton Hall for a number of years and were kept busy all day. There are loadsa happy punters they helped wiv stone chips and scratches)

Ask for Frank or Simon 0121 711 1345

Good luck

Yes, I used these guy's to refurbish my alloys. I was very pleased with the result, but they charged me to remove the tyres and at a later date when I had new tyres fitted, found out that they hadn't removed them at all. :?

Sorry, I can't remember his name. He was an older chap (in his late 50s, I'd guess). Hope that does not offend anyone, remember, "your only as old as the woman you feel" (or something like that).
The cost was around £60, but it sounds like the finish may not be as good as the Solihull firm that has also been mentioned.

Umm, the chap who phoned me sounded quite young. But you can't really tell by a voice I suppose.

As long as he does a good job, I'm not fussed. With the way my lucks running, I'll most likely have to make a complaint, then get 'em out to do the job right. (I think I'm turning into Victor Meldrew.)

Good luck with that. When I first got my '44. Went to visit my mum. They were painting outside so the car park was closed. So I had to park in the overhead next door. Only space I could find was next to a piller. Was so busy watching the pillar. Crunch. Longer than I thought. Hence the search for a new bumper! (Mine has a small hole in it on the underside. You can't see it but I know it's there & it annoys me every time I wash it.)
