Hi All :)

I have decided to try a CARNUBA wax on my mirror wrap as i need a seal to stop contamination...

Basically I am looking for a hard glass like coating to go on top of my wrap....which I dont mind renewing every few months...

I have looked on Amazon at various Carnuba waxes ranging from Carnuba wax sprays to the original Carnuba Simoniz wax in a round tin....

As I am more in to mechanical stuff like engines and Nitrous and hate bodywork, could someone please give me an idea of what will work best ????

All the best Brett :)

Brett

I am not sure of the properties of the wrap but would think that a carnuba wax would be a waste of money.

A good synthetic like Meguiars NXT would probably work well. Paste lasts a lot longer than liquid on all waxes.

Halfords stock NXT and they usually have a 3 for 2 offer on cleaning products

Hi Sean :)

Very helpful thanks :)

Did you mean this >>> paste >>> https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-NXT-T ... guiars+NXT

Or this >>>>> spray wax >>>> https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-NXT-G ... guiars+NXT

Although I cannot quite figure out if there is any difference ???

All the best Brett :)

Paste would be my preferred choice, wax a panel at a time and give it time to cure properly.

Hi All :)

Ordered the Paste....

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-NXT-T ... guiars+NXT

Will get it tomorrow (I do love Amazon Prime)

Have to use it this week as my first show is next Sunday and also have to poish both my Nitrous bottles...although that is easy...Solvol Autosol and a lot of elbow grease lol :)

Will let everyone know how the Paste works...

All the best Brett :)

Glad it worked for you, I use it on the Speedster because it gives Silver a good reflection.

Number plate looks good, thought you may have gone for a NOS one :)
