Any of you guys got a solution for reducing scratches on side windows? I don't mind being a bit brutal if needs be to get the job done, I've just wet sanded a bonnet to get rid of etching. |

I've got a similar problem on my windscreen, historic wiper marks, tried toothpaste etc. so would also be interested in some other suggestions |

if you can feel it with your nail then DIY will not work I tried the glass kits you can buy did not work so I got a professional company that removes scratches from bus/ lorry screens they said it could take all day to do and quoted £500 in the end insurance paid from the screen and I fitted new side glass that only cost me £20 each side from a windscreen shop that had them instock amazingly |

.... or nip down to your local glazier and get hold of some of the glass polishing powder they use to finish off bevelled edges n'stuff .... |

Was that £20 a side a special price to clear new old stock? At that price it's not even worth messing about trying to sort the old glass! |
