Any of you guys got a solution for reducing scratches on side windows? I don't mind being a bit brutal if needs be to get the job done, I've just wet sanded a bonnet to get rid of etching.

if you can feel it with your nail then DIY will not work I tried the glass kits you can buy did not work so I got a professional company that removes scratches from bus/ lorry screens they said it could take all day to do and quoted £500 :?

in the end insurance paid from the screen and I fitted new side glass that only cost me £20 each side from a windscreen shop that had them instock amazingly :D

Was that £20 a side a special price to clear new old stock? At that price it's not even worth messing about trying to sort the old glass!
