I love Meguiars clay

First time I used it, it scratched al the bonnet. After some urgent emails I was offered a free machine polish by mequiars to get the scratches out. Apparently the clay was off. First time I used clay so I didn't realise!

After being converted about 10 months ago, i use only meguiars now.

Clay bar with the quick detailer, then use the paint cleaner which is followed by the crystal polish then the final piece is the carnuba wax.

For the plastics and blacking i either use the meguiars black chrome detailer/ autosmarts high style, or the meguiars tyre gel (really good doesnt leave any sdark marks on the paintwork if you miss).

Autosmarts glass polish and brisk for the interior.

Clay is quite labour-intensive though. I reckon something like the zymol paint cleanser has to be a bit quicker and produce the same sort of results, although I've yet to try it.

have to say the clay and the hd cleanse together (well not at the same time but you know what I mean) produce great results. and the advice from most detailers is to use the clay as well.
