Read that devil shine from asda works great at a drying aid, not yet tryed it, but my water marks have been some what off a nightmare. Split the car up now, work an area at a time. Also rapid detailer stuff used as a clay bar lubrzct buffs out water marks pretty well.

Tryed the double waxing, but as iv not got a garage I had 2 wash the car the very next day, used rapid detailer and micro clothes. Even tryed applying the wax by hand, it just seemed 2 waste it and time, the side I wax by hand beeds up no more water then the side with the applicator.

Came out cloudy when I tried. What water/rinse aid ratio did you use?

Mine was just a quick squirt. Literally a tea sppon, so about 5ml to 10ml per bucket. I have done it a few times now and its worked well every time

I tried this again using my Mondeo as the test vehicle. Came out better than last time. The sides of the car weren't bad, just left some slight water marks. The bonnet was not good and nneeded to rinsed and dried. I applied the rinse water with my cleaning mitt thingy. I eneded up drying each panel with a cloth in the end.

Thought about trying that on my 3.2 but sadly it would not fit in the dishwasher

If you’re not going to dry off by hand or polish the car, wash it with the car wash, hose it off and then using a watering can wash it down with rain water from the garden water but and you will have a clear finish once it has dried off.
No extra cost :D
