Hi all,
I have a lovely set of Cookie Cutters on my 944 that were refurbished by the Wheel Restorer two years ago. The rims are polished and lacquered and there are a couple of small patches where the lacquer has gone milky. Has anyone successfully treated this problem and how? I guess the obvious answer is to rub down the affected area and re-lacquer it but i don't want to make things worse by doing the wrong thing so wonder if there is an easy solution. would rubbing compound have any beneficial impactor would that just strip the lacquer?
any suggestions?
many thanks

Very difficult to sort - its water getting under the lacquer, so it has to be taken off.

You're better off not laquering the rim and using a metal polish and lots of rim wax to keep the shine.

That how I kept my painted and cut D90's in good order.
