Hi all,

Can someone please suugest a suitable source for a replacement space saver tyre 135/70-16 for my 968. Can I get just the tyre or would I need to buy a replacement wheel too? Anyone got one for sale?

TIA,

The 944 one is different sadly as that's a very good price. Will check with OPC tomorrow to see if they can do just a tyre or does anyone know where I can get just the tyre? Anyone suggest any breakers who may have one?

I too would be interested in a source of replacement tyre if anyone knows of one (for the 944 in my case).

Yes, I know you can get complete tyre / wheel assemblies off of Ebay or breakers but any 944 space saver would now be at least 20 years old. Since tyres degrade (whether used or not) and anything over 4-5 years old is "suspect" I'm not about to trust the car or my life to something of that age.

Right now, my (bad) "solution" is a can of tyre-weld.
