| Post subject: | Trying to find 12 volts on reversing lamps |
I’ve been fitting a reverse camera to my 2007 Cayman, found a combined camera and number plate light unit, so no drilling required on bumper! Just trying to find a 12 volt live via the near side light cluster, but to no availe.? Using a multi meter I’ve not found any voltage, even using the wiring diagram for the light units. What am I missing ? So far I’ve only managed to pop the fuse that protects the near side rear light cluster. |

you will seriously upset the CANBUS system by attaching to the light cluster, you would be better by finding a switched live and then the switch line to the Reverse light switch |
