Decided to give my 924 a resurrection (again).so I'm working my way steadily through a number of issues.. but one has me flummoxed.

The windshield washer doesn't work. I've bought a new pump - but that doesn't work either. when I check the connector using a multi meter I am getting voltage when the switch is operated - but the thing is making no noise and no water comes out the nozzles. I tried plugging the connector into the headlamp washer pump (cos that works usually) but that then didn't work either... So I'm ruling out switch and I'm ruling out pump.
My third option is the connector itself as the wire is looking a bit tired and it may be a loose connection - is it possible to get replacement connectors or does anyone know how you get them apart? It's like two spade connectors moulded together at 90 degrees. Or would I be as well cutting the old one off and using two new spade connectors?

Oh - and please try and keep answers simple... I don't do electrics!!!!

Cheers

Tim

Chop it off and just use normal spade connectors. Having said that, you say you have 12V at the wiring, but have you checked the earth? Just connect the earth terminal to ground with a bit of wire and see if it works.
